After two days of school closures due to Tropical Storm Fay (which was really ridiculous, because we have unnamed storms much worse all the time during the summer), my daughter’s first day of first grade finally arrived. This was my first experience with the car-pick up line. Good thing I packed a lunch for myself! So different from when I was a kid, but I guess you can’t be too safe these days.
I needed to get her a larger lunch box that also matches her backpack, but could only find a plain pink and black igloo, with no design on it. I pulled a dragon graphic off of the internet and heat-pressed it to the front, then embellished it with Swarovski crystals.
The end result….
I love creating – whether it’s writing, photos, or crafts…. all right-side brain (and wrong-side heart). That’s me.
